What is occupational well-being?
Occupational well-being focuses on maintaining a person’s physical and emotional ability to cope in the workplace.
A healthy and happy workforce leads to increased productivity and profitability, reduces sickness days and decreases the desire to retire prematurely. Services involve both management and staff and promote a feeling of general well-being and appreciation and this plays a role in the success and efficiency of the overall business.
There are two main areas to occupational well-being: physical and emotional.
